The Shell Graduate Programme

As a Production Geoscientist joining the technical area of the Shell Graduate Programme for Geoscience is a technical, three-year blended learning programme. It is a combination of on-the-job development, structured training and fieldwork, designed to introduce you to the full scope of Shell’s operations, build your networks and give you a broad foundation for your future career.

You’ll be able to apply your skills and be assigned to work as part of a team on a current technical project. During the Shell Graduate Programme you’ll have the chance to rotate between roles, all the while working closely with senior technical experts.

Production Geoscience

Join Shell as a Production Geoscientist and you’ll be working largely at field scale, describing and modelling the static subsurface, proposing development concepts and production wells.

A Production Geoscience career offers you a wide array of roles and responsibilities that include:

  • Production Geologist
  • Production Seismologist
  • Operations Geologist
  • Mining Geologist

You’ll deploy the latest technologies and work in integrated teams with colleagues from the other Geoscience disciplines (Exploration Geoscience, Geophysics and Specialist Geoscience), Well Engineering and Petroleum Engineering.
